Join us on April 12 and 13, 2025 at the Sandhills Global Event Center in Lincoln, Neb. for the inaugural John Cook Team Roping Classic. It has been well-documented that John Cook has a love for horses and roping, and this love encouraged him to give back to his newly found community.

The team roping event will take place on April 13 and a one-day youth roping and clinic with elite roping instructors will be the day before, April 12. This event will include a sponsor social, fun electric atmosphere and feature outstanding horses and ropers.
​
In addition to team roping and various clinics, a Calcutta auction will be held where 15% of the proceeds will provide scholarships for the Nebraska College Rodeo Program.

Join National Finals Rodeo talent, Billie Jack Saebens, on April 12 for a clinic in which you will learn from the most elite instructors in America.
In addition to the Team Roping, there will be Youth Roping.
Sponsors will have the opportunity to attend the sponsor social where John Cook will be in attendance.
A Calcutta auction will be held to support the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's College Rodeo students. 15% of the proceeds will provide scholarships for the students.
